There’s something incredibly special about documenting a family’s first days with their newborn — especially when it happens in their brand new home, filled with warm, soft light and so much love.
Recently, I had the honor of spending a cozy morning with a beautiful young family in Morgan Hill, welcoming their firstborn daughter. As a Morgan Hill newborn photography artist, I truly love these sessions. Every detail felt magical — from the delicate way her parents cradled her tiny fingers to the sun streaming through the windows, wrapping them all in a gentle glow.
The star of the session, of course, was their baby girl, peacefully nestled in her mama’s arms, completely adored by both mom and dad. Her nursery, carefully curated with soft tones and personal touches, was the perfect backdrop for capturing the quiet, intimate moments of this new chapter.
We made sure to include the entire family — their energetic golden retriever was full of excitement, curious about her new little sister, and adding a joyful, playful energy to the session. It’s always important to me to tell the whole story, and pets are such a big part of that.
